Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Music Production Expert (Punjabi) on a remote contract basis. The role involves evaluating AI-generated music for musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, and vocal quality, and labeling songs by genre, structure, and instruments. You will review lyrics and vocals against references and work independently to meet deadlines while contributing to AI model performance.

The position is remote, contract-based, up to 6 months, with 20+ hours per week. Start date is immediate.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Punjabi proficiency and ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
• 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.
• Preferred: training in music performance, theory, or composition.
• Broad familiarity with contemporary Punjabi genres, sub-genres, and artists.
