Job summary

Bask Health is seeking a full-stack engineer to work directly with the CEO and CTO on the software infrastructure powering telehealth. The role values an entrepreneurial spirit and end-to-end ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Our serverless platform features Next.js/React on the front end, tRPC and Prisma on the backend, deployed via SST with TypeScript. You’ll work with AI tools, prototype quickly with real data, and ship production-ready code that improves patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience as a full-stack generalist with ability to take product from 0→1.
• Strong understanding of database design and efficient data modeling.
• Proven ability to own end-to-end features and ship quality software.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship high-quality product experiences. Own key surfaces end to end, from concept through production. Write elegant, well-tested code.
• Work across the stack. Follow a feature from the interface through the API to the database. No handoffs, no waiting on another team.
• Work AI-first with Cursor and Claude Code. Use LLMs as starting point, scaffold components, and refactor with AI in the loop.
• Prototype fast and validate with real users. Build and test quickly with real patients and care teams.
• Build for scale and own the codebase. Translate product needs into reusable, well-architected patterns.
• Make automation legible and trustworthy. Build systems that clearly communicate what AI and automation are doing for patients and providers.
• Champion performance, accessibility, and reliability. Ship fast, robust, and accessible software and raise quality over time.
• Share AI-native workflows. Document prompts and workflows to move faster together without compromising patient outcomes.
