Qualifications

• Production relational database experience (e.g., Postgres or MySQL).
• Engineering leadership with 10+ years of experience.
• Strong backend fundamentals and concurrency, retries, and data consistency.
• Systematic approach to performance with plans, traces, and profiling.
• Product judgment: turning customer problems into technical solutions.
• Willingness to work across the stack.
• Fluency with AI-assisted engineering.
