Job summary

Salesforce.com, inc. is seeking a software engineer to build and scale server-side services in Python/Java and JavaScript, with deployments orchestrated in AWS. Qualifications

• Strong backend experience with Python/Java and MVC patterns.
• Experience deploying web apps at scale on AWS or cloud providers.
• Familiarity with asynchronous task queues and distributed systems.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of CDN and edge delivery technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication alongside diagrams.
• Growth mindset with experience mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Write, test and release server-side Python, Java and JavaScript code early and often
• Collaborate in code and design review, and security assessment processes to create higher quality, secure, maintainable systems
• Build products with a cross functional product development team including product managers, designers and other engineers
• Use Python with Django and Flask to orchestrate deployments to our AWS-based hosting environment
• Use AWS technologies, and Node.js to create performant, scalable and fault tolerant deployments of Salesforce and partner developed code deployed on our infrastructure
• Present your work to your peers and stakeholders
