Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive AI-enabled, scalable software across global teams. You will design, implement, and optimize services that solve complex customer problems, with a strong emphasis on reliability, maintainability, and AI-driven innovation.

You will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to push AI capabilities into production, mentor juniors, and shape our platform's evolution toward AI-native solutions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of total experience delivering enterprise-class applications.
• Solid foundation in scalable code with accessibility, internationalization, and instrumentation.
• Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform web/mobile constraints.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and design patterns.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with test automation: TDD, unit/integration/functional testing.
• Experience with Relational Database Design and Implementation.
• Interest in building CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience with microservices, containers, and Kubernetes/Mesos.
• Strong DB design (SQL/NoSQL) and analytics.
• Experience in cloud computing and deploying services.
• Proficiency in integrating AI models (LLM prompting, AutoML).
• Ability to coach juniors on AI-enabled software engineering.
• Ability to collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers.
