Job summary

Gigs is hiring a Senior Engineer to help scale the US Activation & Retention team, impacting major brands and US growth. You’ll own features across multiple domains, design and build robust APIs, and deliver high-quality backend services in a heterogeneous stack including Ruby on Rails, Go, Elixir, and TypeScript.

You’ll apply AI as a core part of development, learning as you go, and balancing speed with quality.

• Experience designing APIs and building backend services.

• Proven track record delivering products from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Own complex problems end-to-end with design and build responsibility.
• Develop products that enable customers to access world-class connectivity.
• Uphold engineering standards, improve tooling and processes.
• Design, build and maintain APIs and services in Rails/Go/Elixir/TypeScript stack.
• Maintain platform reliability with observability and incident response.
