Duties/Day To Day Overview

• Migrating away from old billing service to new billing service. Has Ruby and PHP. Ruby is a +.
• Migrating to microservice on GO.
• Completing data migration most of time.
• Migration shouldn't take more than 3 months.
• Once done, then move to telecom side for activating sim, make sure activation flow is activating properly.
• Maintainability and building new features on wireless services.
• Databases: using RDS and DynamoBB. Relational is mySQL.
• Currently working in AWS - not a must have.
• 80% coding. Want to maximize and focus on execution.
• They will talk with engineers in the team, so communication is still important.
• Recap - intermediate focused on upfront migrating old billing system to GO for first 3 months and then working on net new application and new billing system.
