Awear is building the backend for its Agentic OS, a stealth-mode platform where AI agents power the next generation of computing. We’re hiring our first backend engineers to craft the core infrastructure, APIs, and privacy features from the ground up.
This fully remote role offers meaningful equity and strong medical coverage, with occasional in-person milestones in Silicon Valley or Paris. You’ll join a high-trust team and ship practical software in a fast-moving startup.
We’re building the operating system for the next generation of computing — one where AI agents replace apps and your technology finally works for you instead of the other way around. We’re a stealth-mode startup with a world-class founding team with deep roots in consumer AI, extended reality, and wearable technology — including founders of some of the most recognizable hardware and software platforms of the last decade. We’re backed by strategic partnerships with leading silicon and manufacturing companies, and we’re hiring our first backend engineers to build the platform from the ground up.
This is a rare opportunity to drive foundational architecture decisions on a platform that doesn’t exist yet.

Awear is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
You’ll build the backend infrastructure that powers our Agentic OS — the agent runtime, the memory and context layer, the LLM routing system, and the privacy architecture that makes all of it trustworthy. You’ll work directly with the CEO and a small, high-trust engineering team across Silicon Valley, Paris.
We’re looking for someone who thinks clearly under ambiguity, ships working software over perfect software, and uses AI development tools — Cursor, Claude, Copilot — as a core part of their workflow. We’re a lean team building an ambitious platform. AI-assisted development is how we close that gap and we take it seriously.
