Parts Town is seeking a Principal Backend Engineer to design, architect, and optimize scalable microservices powering its ecommerce and enterprise platforms. You will drive backend architecture, ensure secure, high-performance services, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across platforms like CMS, ERP, and marketing.

You will mentor engineers, define logging and observability, implement CI/CD, and champion event-driven design and API standards (REST, GraphQL) using Node.js, TypeScript,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend system design and distributed applications experience.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript for backend systems.
• Expert in cloud-native platforms and microservices architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Responsibilities
