Responsibilities

• Deliver reliable back-end systems powering TED’s media, identity, and related platforms.
• Own back-end design, coding standards, testing, CI/CD, observability, and documentation.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align delivery.
• Lead code reviews and mentor other back-end engineers to raise quality.
• Interface with teams to design scalable, secure APIs and services.
• Influence direction of conference products’ back-end and new features.
