Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing and building enterprise-scale, cloud-native backend systems.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript; Python and Go knowledge.
• Experience developing microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in AWS and/or GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with distributed messaging (Kafka) and asynchronous processing.
• Proven ability to design highly available, secure, scalable backend systems.
• Strong DB understanding (SQL/NoSQL), caching, observability, logging, performance.
• Mandatory experience integrating LLMs into enterprise apps and backend platforms.
• Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel.
• Experience building RAG pipelines and AI orchestration workflows.
• Knowledge of PyTorch, Hugging Face; embeddings, inference, model evaluation.
• Strong AI governance, safety, and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable cloud-native backend platforms.
• Design and develop high-performance microservices and APIs using Node.js/TypeScript on AWS/GCP.
• Define architecture standards for distributed systems, event-driven solutions, and cloud-native apps.
• Drive adoption of AI by integrating LLMs and Agentic AI into enterprise backend services.
• Design reusable AI platform components including orchestration, RAG pipelines, model gateways, and observability.
• Provide technical leadership across engineering teams and enforce best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, and Enterprise Architecture teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Mentor engineering teams and influence technical direction across initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enterprise adoption where appropriate.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for scalability, reliability, security, performance, and ops excellence.
