Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Distinguished Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to steer technical direction across a growing AWS-hosted platform. You will turn product goals into reliable software and guide cross-functional teams across the organization.

You will mentor senior engineers, drive AI-assisted development, and work with end users to clarify requirements. This is a 100% remote position offering global collaboration and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend development with Node.js/TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of event-driven microservices architectures in production.
• Extensive experience with AWS-hosted platforms.
• Experience taking software to production and owning its operation.
• Practical use of AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a product capability from design through delivery and ongoing operation.
• Deliver working software from product goals.
• Set architecture and engineering practices for event-driven services on AWS.
• Collaborate with end users to clarify requirements.
