Job summary

Milleniance Softnet seeks a senior backend engineer to own integration architecture for 2-3 enterprise accounts, focusing on BFSI and healthcare integrations. You will design APIs and backend services in Node.js and Java, ensuring uptime and reliability, while leading architecture reviews and coordinating with client engineering teams.

You’ll participate in on-call rotations and document architectural tradeoffs to build resilient platforms that outlast individual engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend engineering and production system design.
• Experience designing APIs at production scale with uptime accountability.
• Comfort communicating architecture decisions to client teams.

Responsibilities

• Own integration architecture for 2-3 enterprise accounts.
• Design and build APIs and backend services meeting uptime SLAs.
• Lead architecture and code reviews for engineers on your accounts.
• Work with client engineering teams to integrate with core banking, loan management or hospital information systems.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for managed-uptime accounts.
• Document architecture decisions and tradeoffs to ensure system longevity.
