Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking a Software Engineer III to design, build, and operate distributed integration services and APIs at scale.

You will work on Kong API Management, HL7 FHIR, and enterprise integrations using Java and JavaScript in a production-focused environment. You will contribute to API platform engineering, security, and data facades while leveraging YAML for declarative configurations and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Java; working proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js.
• RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger, contract testing, versioning.

Responsibilities

• Design and build distributed services and integration components (Java focus; Node.js where appropriate).
• Configure and manage Kong Gateway via declarative YAML configs and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain a FHIR data facade and backend integrations (REST, gRPC, messaging).
• Own API lifecycle: design (OpenAPI), testing, versioning, and SLO-driven operations.
• Implement OAuth2/OIDC, secure coding practices and network policies.
