About the role:
We seek a senior software engineer with expertise in building and maintaining a fast distributed backend environment using Rust and Go. Your work will involve developing backend engines for threat detection, script optimization, and web security enhancement.
What you will do:

• Design and develop high-performance backend services in Rust for large-scale web security data processing.
• Maintain and improve existing backend services in Go.
• Collaborate with security researchers to turn detection prototypes into production systems.
• Work with infrastructure teams to ensure observability, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in design discussions and technical decisions for the backend platform.

About you:

• You are proficient in Rust, with a focus on performance, concurrency, and memory safety.
• You are comfortable with Go and Typescript or eager to learn them.
• You have strong systems thinking skills and experience with distributed systems.
• You have worked with event-driven architectures and message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• You are experienced with deploying and operating services on AWS.
• You are interested in understanding attacker techniques and designing secure systems.
• You have experience designing robust, secure APIs and backend architectures.
• You have 4+ years in backend or systems engineering, preferably in high-scale or security-sensitive environments.
• You are energetic and eager to contribute to a dynamic startup environment, building impactful technology.
• Bonus: interest or experience with AI models.
