Job summary

Glow is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join its R&D team and shape the future of endpoint security. You will design, build, and operate reliable backend services and microservices at scale using Python and Go.

You’ll work with AWS and Kubernetes, design data schemas, run migrations, and power analytics on ClickHouse, collaborating with product, design, and data teams in a fast-moving, high-velocity environment.

Qualifications

• Production experience building backend services at scale.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with microservices and PostgreSQL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English, written and spoken.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join Glow’s R&D team and help define the future of endpoint security.

You’ll join a small, high-caliber engineering team that builds the services and data platforms powering Glow’s product. Your mission will be to design and operate reliable, scalable, and secure backend systems that make our product fast, trustworthy, and easy to extend.

What You'll Do

• Build and own backend services and microservices using Python and Go.




• Design schemas, run migrations, and build the analytics layer on ClickHouse.




• Deploy and operate services on AWS + Kubernetes




• Improve reliability, performance, and observability; participate in design/code reviews.




• Drive end-to-end delivery across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.




• Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams, explain tradeoffs and iterate fast.




• Thrive in a dynamic, high-velocity landscape, leveraging cutting-edge stacks and advanced AI capabilities to build what matters.

What You'll Bring

• Production experience building backend services at scale with common backend languages.




• Experience working with modern cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.




• Practical experience with microservices and Postgres (schema design, migrations, performance)- advantage
