Lemon.io is seeking a Senior Back-end Developer to design, implement, and scale backend services for an AI-native cloud client in the United States. You may work in Golang or Python and will contribute to distributed systems architecture in a fully remote, full-time role.

As a Senior Back-end Developer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing solutions that support this massive scaling. You will tackle complex challenges in distributed systems, leveraging your expertise in either Golang or Python, to ensure the platform remains performant, reliable, and cost-effective. This is a full-time, remote position where you will be empowered to take end-to-end ownership of your work, contributing directly to the client’s mission of powering the next generation of AI applications.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Core Technical Proficiency (one of the following):
• 5+ years of commercial experience with Golang
• 5+ years of commercial experience with Python
• Infrastructure & Systems Expertise:
• 2+ years of commercial experience with Kubernetes
• 2+ years of commercial experience with Linux (if Python-focused)
• Proven experience with distributed systems
• AI-Assisted Development:
• 1+ year of experience in AI-assisted coding practices
• Problem Solving & Ownership:
• Ability to own problems end-to-end, from identifying issues to designing, building, and shipping solutions to production.
• Demonstrated capability to articulate and show the business impact of your work through concrete results (e.g., faster processing, lower costs, more users, fewer incidents).
• Advanced English proficiency, enabling you to discuss business tasks, explain technical decisions, raise issues proactively, and present results effectively in client interactions.
• Work Ethic & Autonomy:
• Comfortable working full-time remotely and delivering high-quality results without constant supervision.
• A strong ability to onboard quickly and begin shipping production-ready code within your initial weeks.
