This role is for experienced engineers who are comfortable owning backend services, making architectural decisions, and working on production systems at scale. You’ll collaborate closely with front-end developers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, reliable software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade backend services and APIs.
• Take ownership of backend systems, from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Make and contribute to architecture and system design decisions.
• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and performant.
• Collaborate closely with front-end engineers and product stakeholders.
• Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor other developers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability.
• Actively participate in agile planning, estimation, and sprint reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Back-End Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in one or more back-end languages (e.g., Node.js, Java, or GO), deep expertise in one of the backend languages with readiness to work.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL systems.
• Solid understanding of system design, API design, and backend architecture.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Proven ability to debug, optimize, and maintain live systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Experience setting up or working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to distributed systems, background jobs, or event-driven architectures.
