Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment seeks an experienced Senior Back-End Developer to design, build, deploy and operate scalable backend systems in a cloud-native environment. You will work with Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or Node.js and leverage AWS, Kubernetes, and microservices to deliver a bidirectional EV charging platform.

The role involves REST APIs, distributed systems, IaC with Terraform, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and 24/7 production support in a global technology context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend software development experience.
• Experience with Java preferred, or Python/JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud-native and container architectures.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, deploying and operating production-ready backend applications.
• Building scalable microservices and cloud-native solutions.
• Designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Working with distributed systems and containerised environments.
• Developing solutions using Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript or Node.js.
• Using AWS services including Kubernetes, Serverless, API Gateway, CloudWatch, ECS, Lambda, OpenSearch, RDS and S3.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code to automate infrastructure.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.

We’re looking for a Senior Back-End Developer who enjoys solving complex problems, building scalable systems, and working with modern cloud technologies.

You’ll be part of a global technology environment working on an exciting product focused on intelligent and bidirectional EV charging connecting vehicles, charging infrastructure, energy partners and smart energy ecosystems.
