Are you a highly experienced back-end developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, designing scalable systems and getting into the detail when needed?

We're looking for an Expert Back-End Developer to join a high-performing global technology environment, working on critical production solutions and modern cloud-based applications.

This is a role for someone who can design, build, troubleshoot, influence technical decisions and share their expertise with others.

What You'll Be Working On

You'll be part of a development team responsible for the ongoing development, enhancement and support of enterprise applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

Designing and developing robust Java-based back-end solutions.
Building and maintaining microservices and API-driven applications.
Developing RESTful web services and scalable integration solutions.
Working with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, including Angular and Node.js.
Designing solutions using Azure Cloud and cloud-native technologies.
Contributing to cloud architecture and infrastructure design.
Working with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
Developing and integrating APIs across multiple systems.
Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to sprint planning, refinement and sizing.
Engaging with end users and stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
Translating complex requirements into practical technical solutions.
Identifying technical risks and impediments and proactively driving them to resolution.
Presenting proposed solutions to Product Owners and other stakeholders.
Ensuring development work meets established quality, coding and testing standards.
Supporting existing applications and contributing to DevOps and production support.
Preparing technical and system documentation.
Mentoring and coaching other developers and sharing technical knowledge across teams.

Experience designing and delivering solutions in Azure Cloud.
