Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Annuity Rate Setting team in the Consumer Markets Division. This on-site role offers one work-from-home day per week with locations in Newport Beach, Omaha, or Charlotte.

The team supports product competitiveness, rate recommendations, performance monitoring, and related business processes. The ideal candidate is organized, curious, dependable, and comfortable in a quantitative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• 2-5 years in business analysis, consulting, analytics, or related area.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Strong Excel skills are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve core processes like rate setting, renewal submissions, and return reporting.
• Coordinate timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables to ensure on-time, accurate work.
• Facilitate discussions and drive follow-through on decisions and actions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, strengthen, and scale team work.
• Develop reporting and metrics for visibility into important work.
• Build strong relationships across stakeholder groups and align on priorities.
