Job summary

Lantern seeks a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to evolve our Azure-based infrastructure. You will architect, implement, and operate a secure, multi-region cloud platform that supports healthcare solutions, with emphasis on scalability and regulatory compliance.

In this hybrid Dallas-based role, you will collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams, implement IaC with Terraform, and drive robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (AWS/GCP a plus).
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructure at scale.
• CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Regulated environment experience, healthcare HIPAA/SOC compliance preferred.
• Security practices for cloud environments: IAM, encryption, monitoring/logging.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, engineers, app developers, and InfoSec to meet regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain IaC with Terraform to automate provisioning and deployments.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Ensure monitoring, observability, and alerting; address incidents and participate in response.
• Participate in cost optimization and disaster recovery planning.
