Job summary

iKnowHow S.A. is seeking an experienced Senior Application & Software Developer to design and deliver enterprise software solutions across the SDLC.

You will define architecture, drive technical decisions and build scalable, secure applications using Java, Spring Boot and modern AI-enabled Azure services where appropriate. The role requires deep expertise in web and multi-tier development, REST/gRPC, Kafka streams, container platforms like OpenShift/Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, and robust CI/CD

Qualifications

• Strong experience in designing and delivering enterprise-grade software
• Extensive hands-on with Java, Spring Boot and microservices
• Proficient in REST/gRPC APIs and streaming tech (Kafka/IBM Event Streams)
• Experience with container orchestration and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficient in OpenShift/Kubernetes and Docker/Podman tooling
• Knowledge of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Splunk)
• Experience with UML and modeling tools
• Ability to work in international/multicultural teams and communicate in English

Responsibilities

• Lead design of modern enterprise applications across the SDLC
• Define application architecture and drive technical decisions
• Develop and integrate components within the sBMS architecture
• Ensure interoperability with EU and other systems
• Create unit test specs and automate testing scripts
• Review code to improve quality, security and maintainability
• Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing
• Assist with deployment and configuration in QA, pre-prod and prod
• Document technical specs, installation and operation manuals
• Adapt to fast-changing technologies and cross-functional collaboration
