Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Developer to design and deliver enterprise-grade integration solutions using Azure Integration Services. You will own LLDs, implement APIs with APIM, and drive CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions in a fast-paced program.

You will collaborate with leads, architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure robust, scalable, and observable systems, including AI-assisted development practices and strong mentoring

Qualifications

• Experience: 6–9 years with hands-on integration development in complex delivery environments.
• Azure Integration Services (AIS) expertise.
• Advanced experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
• Strong coding in C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON, XML.
• Ownership of Low-Level Design (LLDs) and contribution to HLDs.
• Proficient in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Debugging, performance optimization, and diagnostics.
• AI & Copilot skills for AI-assisted development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex, large-scale integration solutions using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Data Factory, Service Bus, Event Grid).
• Build high-performance, scalable, production-ready integration solutions for enterprise needs.
• Develop reusable frameworks, integration patterns, and shared components.
• Design and govern APIs using Azure API Management (APIM) with advanced policies.
• Own Low-Level Design for modules and critical components; ensure architectural conformance.
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions; IaC.
• Lead testing strategies and support production issues with root-cause analysis.
• Implement observability with Azure Monitor and Application Insights; ensure SLAs.
