Job summary

Experis is seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join the Infrastructure Support team in Warren, New Jersey. The role focuses on refining IaC with Terraform/Terragrunt, expanding Azure coverage with secure defaults, and building AI-enabled self-service platforms.

You will automate change management with ServiceNow and design CI/CD workflows to streamline provisioning.

Qualifications

• Mastery of Terraform and Terragrunt for scalable infrastructure and reusable modules.
• Hands-on experience with IaC quality tooling, linting, validation and automated testing.
• Deep expertise in Azure IaaS and PaaS with standardized, reusable IaC patterns.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, and Bash for automation.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows, GitOps, and Azure AD identity management.

Responsibilities

• Refine, harden, and extend IaC frameworks using Terraform and Terragrunt for consistency.
• Expand and standardize Terraform modules to enhance Azure coverage with secure defaults and guardrails.

• Refine, harden, and extend existing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks using Terraform and Terragrunt to improve consistency and maintainability.
• Expand and standardize Terraform module libraries to enhance Azure cloud coverage with secure defaults and embedded policy guardrails.
• Develop and maintain an AI-enabled self-service platform, including setting up MCP servers and authoring agent skills for AI-assisted infrastructure generation.
• Automate change management processes by integrating deployment pipelines with ServiceNow, ensuring fast delivery and audit compliance.
• Design and implement self-service workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.

What's Needed?

• Mastery of Terraform and Terragrunt for managing infrastructure at scale, including authoring reusable modules.
• Hands-on experience with TFLint, IaC quality tooling, and enforcing standards through linting, validation, and automated testing.
• Deep expertise in Azure IaaS and PaaS services, with a proven track record in designing standardized, reusable IaC patterns.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, and Bash for automation and supporting infrastructure tasks.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows, GitOps practices, and managing identity and access with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
