Job summary

Interpoo is seeking a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, and optimize a Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure. You will implement cloud services, manage identities, and ensure security, cost efficiency, and recovery readiness across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role collaborates with DevOps, Information Security, and Application teams to deliver reliable infrastructure and modernize legacy systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in progressive infrastructure, systems, or cloud engineering.
• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering/administration.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and enterprise Microsoft infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Azure AD/Entra ID and hybrid identity.
• Experience with enterprise backup/recovery solutions, ideally Rubrik.
• Experience with VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V or equivalent virtualization.
• Proficiency with Azure Monitor/Log Analytics and observability tools.
• Solid troubleshooting across multi-tier cloud and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
• Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, networking, compute, storage, identity, and monitoring.
• Monitor Azure service health and coordinate responses to incidents and degradation.
• Develop cloud engineering standards for availability, security, and performance.
• Support Azure-hosted workloads and AKS-based workloads for apps and DevOps teams.
• Review Azure consumption, budgets, and optimize resource utilization.
• Contribute to DR planning, testing, and remediation; document recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with IT security, DevOps, and vendors; participate in architecture reviews.
