Job summary

NetSage in Linthicum, MD seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer with Microsoft Azure Government experience to migrate workloads into secure, scalable cloud environments. You will design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures that meet security, compliance, and reliability requirements for critical government missions.

The ideal candidate holds TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a CS degree (or equivalent) and expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, ARM templates, plus strong networking and

Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• BS in Computer Science or related field and eight years of relevant experience; or PhD with 3 years, MS with 6 years, or no degree with 12 years.
• IAT Level II or III certification relevant to duties (e.g., CompTIA Cloud+ or CompTIA Security+).
• Two years of experience in Microsoft Azure Government environments.
• Experience designing flexible, scalable, highly available cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and network security methodologies.
• Knowledge of risk management, cybersecurity principles, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of cloud service models (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) and deployment models (private/public/hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures for government missions.
• Support migration of workloads into secure, scalable Azure Government environments.
• Ensure security, compliance, and reliability of cloud solutions.
• Leverage containerization and IaC tools to automate deployments.
