Job Title: Senior Azure Engineer

Location: Remote

Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2 - [Not open to C2C or 1099]

Salary Range: $115,000–$165,000 Annually

Experience Required: 6+ years

Job Summary

The work focuses on availability, scalability, security, observability, automation, and dependable service operations. The successful candidate will apply practical expertise in Azure resource management, networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, automation, and governance, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to reliable, maintainable solutions through the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, provision, configure, and operate cloud or infrastructure components using approved architecture patterns.
• Automate repeatable provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Implement security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability controls.
• Investigate incidents, capacity issues, vulnerabilities, and performance problems.

Required Qualifications

• Experience Required: typically 6+ years in a related professional role; exact threshold must match the approved requisition.
• Practical experience with the role-specific technology stack: Azure resource management, networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, automation, and governance.
• Professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations relevant to the role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional hands‑on depth in Azure resource management, networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, automation, and governance.
• Experience mentoring peers, reviewing technical work, and guiding delivery decisions.
• Familiarity with secure development, accessibility, governance, or regulatory requirements where applicable.
• Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in the role’s technology area.
