Job summary
Independence Pet Holdings is seeking a Platform Engineer to own our cloud platform on Azure, drive multi-region deployments, AKS workloads, serverless components, and API exposure. You will implement CI/CD with Azure DevOps, GitOps, and zero-downtime strategies, and promote standard, repeatable patterns across teams.
Responsibilities include IaC with Terraform, configuration management with App Configuration and Key Vault, observability with Monitor and Insights, and cost-optimized, scalable
Qualifications
- Experience designing Azure multi-region platforms and resilient architectures.
- Strong background in CI/CD and GitOps for cloud deployments.
- Ability to standardize deployment patterns and enable developers across teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the Azure-based application platform, including AKS and serverless components.
- Design and operate CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and security gates.
- Define IaC strategies using Terraform for Azure resources.
- Lead multi-region reliability, monitoring, and incident RCA processes.
- Enable developers with self-service templates and golden paths.
- Drive cost awareness and optimization across AKS, serverless, and messaging.
