Job summary

CrossConnect, in collaboration with a client, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and scale an Azure-based data platform. You will partner with Data Engineering, Architecture, and Security to build robust CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments across Azure services and Databricks workloads.

This hybrid role is based in Overland Park, KS, with three days in the office weekly. The ideal candidate has deep IaC expertise, cloud configuration, and experience in enterprise data

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps/Platform Engineering with 3+ years on Azure.
• Hands-on Databricks workspace administration and deployment automation.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with IaC tools.
• Proficiency in scripting and secret management.
• Strong problem-solving and security-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
• Manage IaC across multi-environment setups (Dev to Prod).
• Support Databricks and data platform administration across Azure services.
• Establish secrets management and RBAC, enforce security standards.
• Monitor platform health, optimize cloud costs, and mentor teammates.
