Job summary

Apex Systems in Irving, TX is seeking a DevOps/Analytics Platform Engineer to support Azure and AWS Databricks from a DevOps perspective in a hybrid role with three days in the office. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, build infrastructure as code with Terraform, and manage Databricks and related Azure services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years API development and 3rd party API integration.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills (SQL Server or Oracle).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Azure Databricks, Terraform module development, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with Azure AD, OAuth, JWT, Microsoft Teams SDK, and App Insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Provision and manage Azure Analytics services, such as Databricks, using Terraform/ARM/Bicep.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize Azure data services, monitoring data pipelines and performance.
• Automate routine tasks and deployments with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Enforce security and governance with IAM, data encryption, and compliance requirements.
