Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of experience in building and managing Azure-based CI/CD pipelines, alongside expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.

The role involves designing and optimizing scalable DevOps solutions, ensuring automation maturity, high availability, and collaboration across teams. Key responsibilities include leading pipeline development, managing containerization, and implementing security best practices.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in DevOps/Cloud engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in writing YAML-based pipelines and templates.
• Solid experience in Docker containerization and image management.
• Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS or other managed clusters).
• Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes deployments.
• Proficiency in Git-based version control and branching strategies.
• Hands-on experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, automation, and release management.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps using YAML.
• Develop reusable, modular, and scalable pipeline templates and frameworks.
• Lead the automation of build, release, and deployment processes across environments.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage image lifecycle and optimization.
• Deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes clusters.
• Define and implement deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and architecture teams to integrate best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
