Job summary

Actalent is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure Azure cloud infrastructure. You will automate provisioning, manage AKS clusters, and build CI/CD pipelines to improve software delivery.

The role emphasizes high availability, fault tolerance, and regulatory compliance in a fast-growing environment. The contract position is fully remote in the United States, with responsibilities spanning Azure networking, monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Azure experience including VMs and monitoring
• CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps
• Scripting in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Azure networking (VNets, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, NSGs)
• AKS Kubernetes orchestration

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure
• Automate provisioning of Azure resources using IaC
• Monitor and optimize performance and cost of Azure resources
• Manage AKS clusters and containerized services
• Secure Azure networking and implement monitoring/observability
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps
• Develop automation scripts in PowerShell/Python/Bash
• Ensure security best practices and regulatory compliance
• Conduct regular security audits and incident response readiness
