Job summary

ITProposal is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Specialist to redesign and professionalize an Azure DevOps environment within a complex public-sector setting. The role focuses on secure-by-design, standardized DevOps with clear policies and guardrails for autonomous development teams.

Responsibilities include analysis, design, migration planning, and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, policy as code, and security integration across repositories and environments.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO ICT education or equivalent (e.g., Computer Science).
• Microsoft Azure DevOps certification – Level 3 or equivalent.
• 5+ years hands-on Azure DevOps experience in complex IT environments.
• 3+ years supporting CI/CD for development teams.
• 2+ years translating policies into technical implementations.

Responsibilities

• Review current Azure DevOps setup and security; identify gaps and opportunities for standardization.
• Design branching strategies and standardized pipeline templates; establish governance model.
