Job Description

About the Role:

We are in search of a seasoned Azure Devops Consultant who possesses extensive knowledge in Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services to spearhead cloud migration and architectural initiatives. The preferred candidate will have practical experience in managing large-scale cloud applications, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and applying contemporary cloud architectural patterns. This position necessitates excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to provide effective cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer expert advice on cloud architecture for both infrastructure and applications utilizing Microsoft Azure.
  • Establish technical direction and create roadmaps for cloud migrations, overseeing implementation and technical solutions.
  • Utilize modern cloud architectural patterns, including serverless technologies and container orchestration services.
  • Aid both internal and external clients in re-architecting and migrating applications to container and microservices platforms.
  • Thoroughly document architectural solutions, configurations, and setups.
  • Facilitate the orchestration of essential resources and the integration of infrastructure and DevOps technologies (App Service, containers, serverless, cloud-native services, etc.).
  • Provide effective knowledge transfer and training sessions to clients, ensuring their self-sufficiency.
  • Conduct in-depth infrastructure troubleshooting and monitoring, including log analysis to determine root causes.
  • Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop (VDI) is advantageous.
Key Requirements
  • Significant experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS products such as Azure SQL, Virtual Machines (VMs), App Services, Logic Apps, Functions, Redis Cache, and serverless technologies.
  • Practical expertise with networking services including Application Gateways, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Virtual Networks (VNet), Subnets, and Routing.
  • Demonstrated experience in migrating large-scale on-premises workloads to the Azure cloud.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages including PowerShell, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), as well as release management.
  • Solid understanding of Azure Active Directory, customization of Windows and Linux operating systems, fault diagnosis, and debugging.
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (BE/BTech) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Preferred: MCSA or MCSE certifications.
  • 5 to 12 years of experience in managing cloud infrastructure and delivering projects.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (VDI).
  • Strong comprehension of microservices architecture and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Capability to work efficiently in cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
