Job summary
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Database Engineer/DBA to lead the modernization of an enterprise data environment, migrating from legacy Oracle and Informatica toward Microsoft Azure and Fabric. Qualifications
- 7+ years in DBA/Database Engineer roles with a strong Oracle background.
- Hands-on Oracle DBA experience including performance tuning and maintenance.
- Experience migrating Oracle workloads to Azure and Fabric.
- Experience with Informatica migrations or modernization efforts.
- Strong SQL skills with performance analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern Azure stack.
- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate across teams.
Responsibilities
- Migrate legacy Oracle workloads to Azure and Fabric-based environments.
- Optimize and troubleshoot database performance in cloud/on-prem environments.
- Collaborate with data engineering, application teams to align modernization efforts.
