Job summary

Regent Bank is seeking an Senior Platform/DevOps Engineer — Data Platform to design, build, and secure the Azure-based data platform that supports the Snowflake data warehouse environment. You will focus on ingestion of nightly batch files from core banking systems, IaC, CI/CD, and security-by-design for customer NPI.

You will own Azure foundation, storage, identity, and access controls, while optimizing Snowflake performance and cost. Familiarity with regulated banking environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Seven (7) years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or SRE-related roles.
• Three (3) years of hands-on experience supporting Snowflake in production.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the Azure foundation supporting the data platform, including resource organization, networking and private connectivity to Snowflake, RBAC, storage, secrets management, monitoring, and security controls.
• Engineer and maintain Azure storage services for ingestion and persistence (Blob Storage/ADLS Gen2), access controls and encryption.
• Design, implement, and maintain IaC for environments using Terraform and/or Bicep with Git-based workflows.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and data platform changes with automated testing and approvals.
