Job summary

InRule is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the data architecture behind our decision intelligence platform. You will write production C#/.NET code and manage data schemas, pipelines, and integrations powering reporting and analytics.

This role requires deep Azure and Snowflake experience, strong SQL and data modeling, and a passion for building reliable, governed data systems. You will collaborate with engineers across the platform to deliver scalable services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Hands-on Snowflake design, performance tuning, and data modeling.
• Strong SQL skills with profiling and optimization at scale.
• Experience building data pipelines on Microsoft Azure and shipping production services in .NET/C#.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the data architecture for our Azure-based SaaS platform.
• Design, build, and maintain data schemas and pipelines for data lakes and warehouses (e.g. Snowflake).
• Develop and optimize reporting and analytics experiences via embedded platforms (e.g. Sisense).
• Profile and tune query performance across Snowflake and data stores, establishing budgets and monitoring.
• Lead data governance, privacy compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) and residency considerations.
