A leading technology consulting firm is looking for a Sr. Azure Data Engineer to lead initiatives in data integration and migration across enterprise data platforms. This role requires expertise in data warehousing, ETL development, and tools like Informatica PowerCenter and Azure Data Factory. The position offers a salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based in the Yonkers area with benefits including medical insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and ETL development.
• Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Teradata, SQL Server, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing end-to-end data migration projects.
• Proficiency in Unix/Shell scripting and performance tuning for large-scale data systems.
• Excellent analytical and programming skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, analysis, development, testing, and migration activities for data warehousing and cloud-based projects.
• Design and orchestrate data architecture and workflows, ensuring seamless data movement.
• Implement ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and optimize performance.
• Develop and maintain Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for cloud migration.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and business rule logic.
