Agile Actors in Athens is seeking a seasoned data/BI engineer to design and implement OLTP and Data Warehouse solutions. You will build scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Azure SQL DW, and ETL tools to support global clients and complex analytics.

Formación

• 5+ years of related working experience.
• Good knowledge of OLTP, Data Warehouse relational and multi-dimensional databases design and implementation (Normal Forms, Star Schemas).
• Experience with T-SQL programming (stored procedures, functions, joins, analytics functions, CTEs).
• Understanding of Database optimization techniques (indexes, partitioning).
• Understanding of ETL process design and experience with an ETL tool used in the industry (eg SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks).
• Some experience with Apache Spark.
• Understanding of Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject.
• Understanding of fundamental computer science knowledge (data structures, algorithms).
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking along with a desire to keep learning, growing & teaching

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement OLTP and Data Warehouse schemas and data models.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using industry-standard tools.
• Optimize database performance and query design for efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver analytics solutions.
