Job summary

Carnation Infotech seeks a Sr. Data Engineer to design, build, and deliver enterprise data solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will own end-to-end Azure-based pipelines, ensuring scalable, secure architectures and delivering impactful analytics and reporting.

The role requires hands-on Azure data services expertise, data governance awareness, and collaboration across functions to maximize business value. You will work on data storage, integration, and BI platforms within enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Requires a strong background in designing and delivering enterprise data solutions on Azure.
• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance practices.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable Azure data solutions.
• Experience with data modeling (star/snowflake) and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Azure data pipeline and solution delivery from design to deployment and support.
• Build scalable data solutions through data cleansing, transformation, and modeling.
• Apply optimization and CI/CD practices for data pipelines.
• Develop and document data management, analytics, reporting, and BI solutions (dashboards).
• Collaborate with architecture, delivery teams, and stakeholders to ensure value-driven outcomes.
