Eleven Recruiting is assisting a global investment firm in Los Angeles, CA to hire a Senior Cloud Security Engineer. You will secure the Azure cloud environment, manage security for data platforms, and drive incident response and vulnerability programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with data engineering, IT, and security teams to enforce access controls, monitor threats, and implement IaC-driven safeguards. Strong Azure expertise is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in information security or related field.
• Hands-on Azure security engineering and architecture experience.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, MS Dynamics).
• Strong incident response, vulnerability management, and IAM skills.

Responsibilities

• Secure Azure cloud environment architecture, networking, policies and RBAC.
• Secure data platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, MS Dynamics with access controls.
• Review security configurations for new Azure and data-platform integrations.
• Support identity governance and least-privilege reviews across resources.
• Contribute to cloud security monitoring using Sentinel, Defender, Purview.
• Enable Infrastructure-as-Code to enforce security configurations.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts across multiple domains.
• Coordinate incident response with teams and external providers.
• Lead vulnerability management, patching, asset inventory, and remediation.
