Job summary

A leading energy company in Arlington, Virginia, is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Security Engineer responsible for architecting and managing the cloud security posture. This role includes implementing a Zero Trust architecture while utilizing Microsoft security tools and various third-party platforms. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in relevant roles, deep knowledge of Azure security, and expertise in tools such as CrowdStrike and Splunk. Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Python are a must.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise cloud or infrastructure environments.
• Expertise in Zero Trust Architecture components.
• Certifications such as AZ-500 or SC-100 are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conditional access policies.
• Implement Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Conduct access reviews and manage identity lifecycles.
• Develop Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
• Utilize Azure and M365 logs for centralized monitoring.
