Job summary

Arctiq is seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer (Azure) to design, implement, and operate secure, scalable Azure infrastructure. You will drive stability, automation, and cost optimization while collaborating with security, DevOps, and application teams.

The role emphasizes Azure-native and third‑party tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and robust identity management across Entra ID and Okta. A strong security posture and Zero Trust mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of IT infrastructure, cloud administration, or systems engineering experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity).
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of identity management (Entra ID / Okta integration).
• Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell or Python).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).
• Azure certifications (Administrator, Security Engineer, or DevOps Engineer).
• Experience implementing Zero Trust architecture and IaC familiarity.
• Experience in regulated environments (financial services, healthcare, etc.).
• Knowledge of monitoring/observability tools (Azure Monitor, LogicMonitor).
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate Azure infrastructure across IaaS and PaaS.
• Collaborate with security, development, and operations teams to ensure secure, scalable cloud environments.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and enforce best practices.
• Manage identity across Entra ID and Okta, including SSO and RBAC configurations.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and scaling processes across environments.
• Ensure high availability, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
