Job summary

Applied Information Sciences (AIS) seeks a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable cloud environments on Microsoft Azure. You will automate deployments, manage IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and collaborate across teams to support mission-critical apps.

The role requires an active Top Secret clearance, a 4-year IT degree (or equivalent), and 8+ years in IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance is required.
• 4 Year Degree in Information Technology or related field or Equivalent Experience.
• 8+ years of Experience in ITInfrastructure and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Provision and configure Azure resources such as VMs, storage, and networking.
• Automate deployment and management with Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and PowerShell.
• Monitor and optimize performance, scalability, and availability of cloud environments.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with development and IT operations teams for deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents.
• Provide guidance and training on Azure services and best practices.
• Stay current with Azure technologies to drive continuous improvement.
