Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and operate large-scale cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure. You will own the end-to-end cloud engineering lifecycle, including architecture, infrastructure-as-code, automation, security hardening, cost optimization, observability, and ongoing operational excellence for production workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 6+ years cloud engineering experience; 3+ years Azure in production.
• Hands-on with Azure core services: compute, storage, networking, identity.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for IaC.
• Knowledge of AKS clusters, CI/CD with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python; automate workflows.
• Strong cloud security, identity management, and compliance basics.
• Monitoring/observability across distributed workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Azure cloud architectures with focus on scalability, security, and cost.
• Develop, maintain, and improve infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Bicep/ARM).
• Configure landing zones, VNETs, subnets, and network security groups.
• Implement identity and governance controls with Azure AD and policies.
• Operate AKS clusters, including node pools and auto-scaling.
• Deploy and tune data/analytics services (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Synapse).
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Establish observability with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights.
• Drive cost optimization; plan rightsizing and RI usage.
• Disaster recovery planning, backups, and runbooks; regular drills.
• Strengthen security posture with Defender, Sentinel, Key Vault.
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
• Develop automation scripts in PowerShell/Python to reduce toil.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to Azure/DevOps communities.
