Job summary

Peraton seeks a Senior Cloud / Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and manage the USINDOPACOM Azure Cloud environment hosting MRT-C terrain data at Fort Meade, MD. You will leverage Azure services and DevOps to enable secure, scalable mission-critical workloads.

The role requires DoD cloud security experience (FedRAMP RMF, NIST 800-53) and US citizenship with TS/SCI eligibility. IaC (Terraform/Bicep/ARM) and IL4/IL5/IL6 controls are essential.

Qualifications

• Azure GovCloud IL4/IL5/IL6 experience.
• DoD cloud security (FedRAMP RMF, NIST 800-53).
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain SCI.
• Azure certifications (Solutions Architect Expert / Security Engineer) preferred.
• 12+ years with BS/BA; 10+ years with MS/MA; 7+ years with Ph.D.; or equivalent years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage USINDOPACOM Azure Cloud environment hosting MRT-C terrain and dependencies.
• Implement scalable cloud infra using Azure services (Synapse, Data Lake, Azure ML, DevOps).
• Enforce security across computing/network layers; manage IL4/IL5/IL6 access.
• Automate provisioning with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
• Ensure cost governance and DoD cloud security compliance.
