Job summary

Accord Technologies Inc. in Jackson, Mississippi seeks an Azure Subject Matter Expert to lead cloud architecture, governance, and advanced Azure services for a multi-tenant environment. This role also involves mentoring staff, developing scalable solutions, and coordinating with vendor partners to ensure compliant, secure deployments.

You will drive design reviews, implement IaC practices, and ensure alignment with policy, security, and performance goals across the organization.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of key Azure services (VMs, Azure Storage, Azure SQL/Cosmos DB, VNet, Entra ID, Functions, ARM templates).
• Experience leading cloud migrations or implementations in a complex multi-tenant/subscription environment.
• Strong network troubleshooting abilities for Azure and on-prem connectivity.
• Familiarity with Azure Landing Zone reference architectures and ALZ deployment tools.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing security best practices (Azure RBAC, encryption, network segmentation, Azure Policies).
• Familiarity with DevOps, containerization (Docker, AKS, Azure Container Apps), and serverless architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting across networking, storage, and compute in Azure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; mentoring staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the Azure tenants and Management Groups per industry best practices.
• Design, review, and implement Azure solutions meeting performance, security, and scalability requirements.
• Serve as senior point of contact for complex Azure issues; coordinate with internal teams and agencies.
• Work with Microsoft and other vendors to integrate products into the Azure ecosystem.
• Provide knowledge transfer, training, and coaching; create and maintain technical documentation and playbooks.
• Collaborate with ITS and agency security teams to meet Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and compliance requirements.
