Madison-Davis, LLC seeks a Senior Cloud Architect to define and scale Azure architecture standards within a regulated enterprise. You will help build secure, scalable cloud foundations and guide modernization initiatives across governance, security, and risk teams.

The role focuses on translating business and regulatory requirements into enterprise-ready cloud solutions, designing landing zones, and shaping long-term platform strategy in a hybrid NYC environment.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in cloud architecture or platform engineering in regulated environments.
• Hands-on Azure architecture experience with security-focused design.
• Experience implementing IaC and automated deployments.
• Knowledge of Azure policy, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Design and evolve enterprise Azure cloud architecture standards.
• Develop secure and scalable Azure landing zone patterns.
• Define best practices for cloud identity, networking, encryption, and resource organization.
• Provide architectural guidance to application development and infrastructure teams.
• Lead cloud modernization, migration, and optimization initiatives.
• Develop reusable IaC templates and deployment standards.
• Partner with security, governance, compliance, and risk teams to ensure cloud solutions align with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
• Promote best practices for automation, governance, scalability, and operational excellence across Azure environments.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements that strengthen enterprise cloud capabilities.
• Contribute to cloud architecture standards, design reviews, and long-term platform strategy.
