Job summary

InterSources Inc is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of a modern Azure cloud-native integration platform for statewide agencies, SCEIS, and enterprise HR/ERP systems.

You will establish scalable patterns using APIs, event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and Azure services, while mentoring teams and guiding governance, security, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and implementing enterprise technology solutions.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure or similar.
• Proven track record in data integration and API design.
• IaC and CI/CD experience with modern tooling and automation.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security and IAM governance.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Azure cloud solutions.
• Define scalable integration patterns using APIs, event-driven architecture, and data integration.
• Provide architecture guidance to development teams and partners throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop cloud architecture standards, governance, and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendors to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Mentor technical staff and promote cloud engineering best practices.
